So for the benefit of humanity, this morning I managed to hook the hem of my shorts around my handlebars and pull them sharply left while I went tumbling down to the pavement on the right. No bragging rights with this crash since it was at a four-way intersection in full view of rush hour traffic, the school kids waiting for the bus and my friends, who witnessed the whole thing.
While I was still face down on the street, I think I even heard one of them whisper, "Can we laugh yet?"
Sheesh.
